The Changing the World with Chips – Introduction to Semiconductors is an interactive, seminar based, one-credit hour course to introduce semiconductor technology, its role in our life, impact, and career opportunities to science and engineering students.
Every week there will be one fifty-minutes session where industry representatives will discuss relevant semiconductor products, company profiles, career prospects, and answer questions from students.
In-person sessions are limited to currently enrolled students in the College of Engineering, School of Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Physics and Math.
Lectures are recorded and made available to the public on the event website shortly after each session has concluded.

Innovate WithIN Pitch Competition: Purdue Innovates

This year’s Region 2 pitch competition will be hosted by Purdue Innovates at Purdue University! During the event, ten west central Indiana high school teams who have been carefully selected out of hundreds of competitors will share their innovative pitches and business ideas.
We will be joined by government officials, business leaders, local innovators, educators, and family as the students pitch their businesses and compete to be one of the top ten teams in the state. The top team will move onto the state finals and will be invited to travel to DC in June, receive thousands of dollars in scholarship, enter an exclusive alumni program, and the first place team in Indiana will receive $25,000 in venture capital funding and $10,000 per student in 529 funds.
