Wade Lange

Chief Entrepreneurial Officer

With diverse experience in the life sciences industry, Wade Lange’s background encompasses broad expertise in biotechnology entrepreneurship, clinical research, marketing, marketing research, business development, and general management in the pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare sectors.

Wade’s entrepreneurial and industry experience includes COO of biotech startups Magnolia Therapeutics, president and CEO of ImmuneWorks, president and CEO of the Indiana Health Industry Forum, and general manager and executive vice president of West Pharmaceutical Services Consumer Healthcare division with successful exits for both ImmuneWorks and West. He also served as a Foundry Entrepreneur in Residence between 2016 – 2019. Lange earned a degree from the Purdue College of Pharmacy and a master’s degree from the Krannert School of Management. The hallmark of Wade’s career has been a consistent focus on integrating market focus and technology development to identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities. He is known for building strong relationships and collaborations across organizational boundaries to create solutions to business problems. Wade’s secret sauce: investigate, listen, understand the needs and expectations of others and encourage others to actively engage, with a bias toward action.

Bill Arnold

Assistant Vice President

Bill is responsible for all Foundry activities related to venture creation and technology commercialization via startups. His previous roles at the Foundry include Entrepreneur in Residence, Program Manager, and Managing Director. Before joining the Foundry, Arnold served in multiple executive management roles, primarily in the financial services vertical. His most recent role was Chief Executive Officer at Member Support Services LLC, a startup in Cranbury NJ. His first startup was formed in 1995 and had a successful exit in 1997. He holds a master’s degree in artificial intelligence from the University of Georgia.

Riley Gibb

Director of Business Development

Joining PRF in 2015, Riley helps manage the Purdue Ventures funds, PRF investments and the connections between Foundry clients with external contacts, alumni, and other investors. Previously he served as the Director of Collaborations within the Foundry. His primary focus was on connecting leadership talent with the startup companies that were clients of the Foundry. Before PRF, Riley led marketing and business development for manufacturing, publishing, and healthcare sectors. He has a prior proven track record of success within the top-tier startup and corporate companies leading and executing significant business initiatives that have delivered tangible benefits. Riley graduated from Xavier University with a Masters of Business Administration degree and from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Graphics Technology and a minor in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. He also serves on the board of directors for the Venture Club of Indiana. He is the Lafayette chapter president for the VisionTech Angel Network and holds other community and church volunteer leadership positions.

Angela Goldenstein

Director of Growth

Angela focusses her time and considerable skills on helping startups scale their business. Facilitating workshops and programs that range from early stage experiments to growth hacking to running our growth-stage Velocity program and managing our Entrepreneur-in-Residence programs, Angela is an excellent resource for founders and teams looking to accelerate their growth. Angela has previously served as an Entrepreneur in Residence partnering with the Air Force to evaluate the commercial viability of their patents. She  also has a decade of experience in the technology industry working for Cisco & Google. During her time at Google, she was on the teams that launched Chromebooks, Google Play podcasts and an internal startup called Helpouts. Angela holds degrees from the University of Michigan (BBA, emphasis in business information technology) and Northwestern University (MBA, emphases in social impact and entrepreneurship).

Ashley Bryan

Director of Programming

Ashley brings invaluable startup experience to the team. She’s currently leading and facilitating Foundry’s Firestarter, Ignite and Boost cohorts and identifying the topics our founders most need covered in self-paced workshops. Ashley also runs the marketing program at the Purdue Foundry, helping to connect faculty, graduate students, alumni and community members with the programs and services they need to move from idea to impact.

Baylee Neff

Director of Talent

Baylee works with thought leaders, alumni and startup founders to identify the needs of a founder and connect them with the right people and resources. Whether a founder is looking for a specific vendor, partner, resource or to add just the right person to their team, Baylee is there to help make those connections.

Larissa Clinton

Operations Manager

Larissa provides high-level administrative support to Managing Directors and Executives. Her primary job responsibilities include: provide supervision to Administrative Assistant; coordinate and oversee work of interns; work directly with Managing Directors for all budgeting and expense reporting functions; ensure the success of all Purdue Foundry events; build relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, mentors, alumni, faculty and students; maintain Foundry databases; perform all necessary recording functions for the Purdue Ventures portfolio’s board and investment committees; ensure smooth flow of day-to-day operations of the Purdue Foundry.

Hanae Sakata

Administrative Assistant

Hanae provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Entrepreneurial Office and Operations Manager, assisting with day-to-day operations at the Foundry and serving as the first point of contact for guests and inquiries to the Foundry. Before joining the Foundry, Hanae’s professional background includes working in the language industry as a translator and editor, interspersed with three years of experience working as an information professional in public and elementary school libraries. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Florida and a Master of Library and Information Science from Florida State University.
