Phlebotics is focused on delivering high-quality information for hospitalized patients and medical research, including Phase I and II clinical trials for experimental drugs. The core technology is based on automated serial blood sampling enabling improved economy, safety, and patient comfort. The technology was first developed within Purdue affiliated company BASi in the Purdue Research Park as a preclinical device for laboratory animal models. It is also used as the principal component of the Translational Pharmacology unit within Discovery Park on campus. A 2-minute video animation of this technology is available at www.phlebot.com.
